How it started.
Gabby grew up meditating beside her mother at an ashram in upstate New York. After struggling with addiction in her twenties, she says she got sober on October 2, 2005. Spiritual practice and personal development became the foundation of her work.

She began by hosting conversations with 20 people in her New York City apartment. Spirit Junkie, published in 2011, shared lessons from her spiritual journey. Her profile grew through Oprah’s SuperSoul Sunday, and The Universe Has Your Back became a #1 New York Times bestseller.
