Before the camera.
Genevieve was born in Canada and developed a background in fitness and nutrition before building her culinary career. She graduated with high honors from the Art Institute of Las Vegas, worked as a private chef and went into event catering.
Food for a gathering.
She met fellow chef Jackie McMahan in culinary school. They combined their catering work into Finesse Catering and Events in 2018. When the pandemic interrupted events, they kept the business going by delivering charcuterie boxes to homes.
From catering to recipe videos.
Genevieve began posting recipes and tutorials on social media in 2020. By February 2023, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that she had reached 1.9 million TikTok followers. On her own recipe page, she says she ran a catering company for six years before becoming a full-time food creator.

Her videos make room for everyday cooking and edible surprises: sourdough bread, back-to-school lunches, a Halloween charcuterie hand and Christmas tree brie bites. Her recent uploads carry that seasonal thread from Halloween snacks into Thanksgiving and Christmas recipes.
