Mini bio

How it started.

Born in Paracatu and based in Belo Horizonte, Gina worked as an early childhood teacher. Sport was already part of her life: she played volleyball at school and spent years swimming. After injuries interrupted her routine, her daughter encouraged her to try CrossFit at 55. She stayed for the training and the company.

Finding her audience.

Sharing workouts did not come naturally at first. In an account quoted by UOL from Marie Claire, Gina recalled being encouraged to film her progress and then share it, with help from her daughter. Those training clips became the foundation of her fitness content. By her June 2025 Observatório Feminino appearance, she had passed one million Instagram followers.

Taking it to competition.

Gina competes under the name Gina Viana in CrossFit’s official records. In 2024, she finished fourth in the Women 60–64 division at the Games. Her own final Games vlog captures her excitement at that result. Her more recent YouTube posts follow HYROX racing and training, alongside clothes, food and everyday life.
