Mini bio

How it started.

Giorgio traces an interest in elegant clothes to childhood. On the About page of The Style Storyteller, they describe inspiration from both public style icons and their father. The blog grew from a wish to share experience and exchange ideas with people who enjoyed the same approach to dressing.

Finding an audience.

Giorgio began posting on Instagram in October 2013, according to ICON. In that interview, they described an unexpected move from giving friends clothing advice to reaching a much larger audience through social media. Writing for Plaza Uomo and The Style Storyteller became part of that work.

Stories behind the clothes.

The writing takes fans inside tailoring and watchmaking. A 2017 Rubinacci feature follows a visit through the Milan showroom and workshop; a 2018 Vacheron Constantin article describes wearing the Overseas Dual Time around Milan. In 2022, Giorgio appeared alongside Brigita Baniunaite in The Rake’s Amalfi Coast travel editorial.

Sharing the craft in person.

In 2025, Giorgio’s work with Hotel de la Ville brought The Gentleman’s Journey to Rome. The itinerary introduces guests to local ateliers, shoemaking, grooming and accessories. Rocco Forte describes it as a way for fathers and sons to share an appreciation of craft and time spent together.
