Mini bio

How it started.

Gordon grew up in Toronto and moved to New York to study at NYU. They graduated from Tisch with a concentration in experimental cinema. An internship making video content at GQ came before an introduction to Steven Meisel through Art + Commerce.

Finding a visual language.

Working with Meisel helped shape Gordon’s approach to fashion film. Their projects grew to include Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Versace and Calvin Klein, alongside editorial work for Vogue and Vanity Fair. They photographed Vanity Fair’s 2024 Hollywood Issue cover.

The music chapter.

“Rush” was Gordon’s first music video. The 2023 collaboration with Troye Sivan led to “Got Me Started” and “One of Your Girls,” a Grammy nomination, and creative direction for Something to Give Each Other. Their work with Sivan also extended to stage design and direction for his world tour.
