Mini bio
How it started.
Jamie grew up outside Washington, D.C., studied film and did makeup for friends before treating it as a career. Retail jobs at Ulta and Bloomingdale’s gave her hands-on experience with different faces and products.
Finding her way.
Freelancing for Jillian Dempsey introduced Jamie to celebrity makeup and led to work with Avon’s Mark brand. She names Lionel Richie as her first celebrity client and Katrina Bowden as her first red carpet. Her online work began with YouTube tutorials and grew to include clients and Allure’s Show Me Your Boudoir series.
From the kit to your bathroom.
In 2020, Jamie launched Jamie Makeup to make the multitasking products she felt were missing from her kit. Blighlighter combines blush and highlighter; Bloss brings together balm and gloss. Her tutorials carry the same preference for approachable, natural-looking makeup.

Alongside work with clients including Kaley Cuoco, Rashida Jones and Chelsea Handler, Jamie shares beauty advice online and runs the monthly SwagBag beauty subscription. In August 2026, Glossy reported more than 700,000 followers across her Instagram and TikTok accounts.
