From Indiana to Los Angeles.
Jaz says she moved from Bloomington, Indiana, to Los Angeles at 18. She came to pursue modeling and entertainment, then built a wider creative career around the routines and interests she was already sharing.
Finding her own direction.
In her 2022 interview with The LA Connected, she traced her move into influencing to the COVID-19 pandemic, when brands she had modeled for began offering influencer deals. She said she valued choosing her schedule and directing her own creative work. At the time, she called her hair business Jaz Hair Care.
Curls, coaching and care.
Today, her official links bring together ReHair, ReNew nutrition coaching and fitness coaching. On Ladies Who Level Up in August 2026, she explained that repeated questions about her curls helped inspire ReHair. Her coaching grew from her interest in wellness and helping other women build habits.
