Mini bio
How it started.
Joanna originally hoped to become a doctor. After physics disrupted that plan, she trained as an esthetician in Białystok, Poland, studying anatomy, physiology and hands-on care. With her parents’ help, she opened a studio in Poland before moving to New York at 25.
The New York years.
A nail-tech job at Paul Labrecque in the Reebok Sports Club helped her find an audience. Vogue booked her for shoots, and her first editorial credit was a manicure and pedicure for Trish Goff. Nail clients began booking facials, too.
A wider world of skincare.
Joanna opened her Dallas flagship in 2015 and added studios in New York and Los Angeles. Her treatments pair manual facial massage with devices, adapting each session to the skin in front of her. In 2021 she introduced her own skincare line with The Kit, seven essentials designed for changing climates and travel.
