Mini bio
How it started.
Justin left Mississippi for Manhattan in 2007. On his About page, he dates the launch of Scout Sixteen to 2010. The name refers to scouting out things to wear, do and discover during the sixteen waking hours of a day.
Finding his audience.
Scout Sixteen and @justinliv brought his menswear, food and travel photography to a wider audience. The Shorty Awards recognized him with a Lifestyle nomination at its ninth annual awards; its profile also highlighted his YouTube photo-editing tips and his 2016 Express partnership supporting Movember.
Style beyond the outfit.
A 2018 GQ Bespoke sponsored feature put Justin in Scotch & Soda spring looks around New York. Today, his site combines outfits with travel finds, playlists and photo diaries. His About page describes a 2026 relaunch after a quieter period following COVID.
