Mini bio

How it started.

Karlie was born in Chicago and grew up in St. Louis. Discovered at a local benefit runway show in 2005, she went from a local magazine shoot to international fashion. She remembers Calvin Klein as her first show, followed the next season by opening Carolina Herrera.

Building a platform.

Runway and campaign work made her a familiar face in fashion, including her years as a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 2013 to 2015. In July 2015, she introduced Klossy on YouTube with a channel trailer made with Casey Neistat and Tim Kellner, giving fans a way into her world beyond still photographs.

Making room for more.

Learning to code at the Flatiron School led Karlie to fund scholarships for 21 young women in 2015. That initiative grew into Kode With Klossy. Her work now also spans media through Bedford Media, children’s storytelling with Spaghetti Code and interviews on Tall Order.
