How it started.
Katya began posting modeling jobs, backstage moments, and travels on Instagram in 2012. In a 2023 interview with The Daily Front Row, Katya dated the move into full-time fashion content creation to 2019.
Finding an audience.
Lockdown brought a turning point: a tripod turned Katya’s Brooklyn apartment into a studio for self-styled editorials and videos. As travel returned, fashion weeks became occasions to cover collections as a guest.

The work combines runway observations with personal street style. On the blog, Katya also writes practical guides to swimwear, shoes, makeup, and perfume. Shoplooks names Katya among the Instagram creators in its Coach Tabby bag campaign.
