Mini bio
How it started.
Komal began by taking outfit-of-the-day photos on a phone in a Delhi college canteen. A fashion blog followed, but putting looks together and making videos felt more natural than writing. Work at POPxo and Harper’s Bazaar Bride helped build the path to an independent career.
Finding a voice.
In November 2017, Komal introduced an independent YouTube venture with “Back on Youtube!” Fans came to know the outfit transformations, saree experiments and Bollywood soundtracks. The 1950s-versus-2022 saree reel brings those interests together in one transition between eras.
Where it led.
Cosmopolitan named Komal Fashion Influencer of the Year in 2022. In 2026, Komal and fellow creator Siddharth Batra fronted Myntra’s “Wedding Fits for Everyone” campaign, bringing their styling to two films about the people and personalities at Indian weddings.
