Mini bio
How it started.
Kyedae grew up in Canada and Japan, playing basketball and learning to sail with family. Meeting TenZ in high school helped open the door to PC gaming. Streaming began in 2020, while Kyedae was also pursuing studies with a medical career in mind.
Learning in public.
Early fans followed the process of getting better at VALORANT, with mistakes and small victories part of the appeal. Videos such as Road to Radiant captured that progress. In April 2021, Kyedae joined 100 Thieves and began appearing in the organization’s content.
Beyond ranked games.
Kyedae appeared alongside Valkyrae and Will Neff in eaJ’s Car Crash music video in 2022, then won Best VALORANT Streamer at the March 2023 Streamer Awards ceremony. Competitive appearances later included playing for Teevee in Game Changers and joining the Masters Toronto showmatch.
A new pace.
After announcing an indefinite streaming break in April 2025, Kyedae returned to Twitch on October 20, 2026. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Kyedae described wanting a healthier relationship with work and more freedom to explore interests outside gaming.
