Mini bio
How it started.
Jay Won saw a possible future in professional gaming while playing Counter-Strike as a teenager. In a conversation with super for The Players’ Tribune, they recalled getting an offer from Selfless at 16. Their parents eventually agreed to the move to Georgia after speaking with the team on Discord.
The Overwatch breakthrough.
After Selfless, sinatraa joined San Francisco Shock. The defining year was 2019: an Overwatch League championship and regular-season MVP award, followed by a World Cup title and another MVP award with Team USA. Tracer, Zarya and Doomfist were central parts of that competitive story.
A switch to Valorant.
In April 2020, sinatraa left professional Overwatch and joined Sentinels’ Valorant roster. The team won the PAX Arena Invitational and Pop Flash in 2020, establishing a second competitive chapter.
The interruption to pro play.
In May 2021, Riot imposed a six-month suspension for failing to fully cooperate with an investigation following sexual assault allegations. Riot said its investigation had not reached a definitive conclusion on the underlying allegations. Won denied the allegations. The suspension ran through September 10, 2021.
Where fans can follow along.
The official YouTube channel now collects Valorant gameplay, collaborations and highlights, alongside Marvel Rivals and variety gaming. A January 2026 compilation looks back across those different parts of 2025. In December 2025, sinatraa also played for Envy in its For Those Who Dare tournament win.
