Mini bio
How it started.
Lauren first appeared on MTV’s Laguna Beach in 2004, while the series followed her high school circle in coastal California. The Hills followed in 2006, taking viewers into her fashion studies, Teen Vogue internship and friendships in Los Angeles.
Building a design career.
Lauren left The Hills in 2009, the same year she launched LC Lauren Conrad exclusively at Kohl’s. Her design work grew beyond clothing into accessories and home goods. In 2020, she introduced Little Co., a baby and children’s clothing line inspired by her experience shopping for her own kids.
Books and creative projects.
Her debut novel L.A. Candy turned reality TV experience into fiction. Its sequels led to The Fame Game trilogy, while Style, Beauty and Celebrate offered practical ideas for getting dressed, beauty routines and hosting. She also cofounded The Little Market in 2013 to support artisans and connect their work with customers.
Where she is now.
Lauren started her lifestyle blog in 2011 and said goodbye to regular posts in January 2023 to give more time to design and family. The archives remain available, and her collection pages continue to showcase new work. In 2026, she returned as a participant and executive producer of The Reunion: Laguna Beach.
