Mini bio
How it started.
Lilly started posting to YouTube in 2010 from a bedroom in Scarborough, Ontario, using the name IISuperwomanII. Observational jokes and exaggerated characters turned familiar experiences into sketches that found a global audience.
Beyond the channel.
How to Be a Bawse became a number-one New York Times bestseller in 2017. Lilly went on to host NBC’s A Little Late with Lilly Singh from 2019 to 2021, publish Be a Triangle in 2022 and play music executive Nora Singh in The Muppets Mayhem in 2023.
Changing the story.
Through Unicorn Island Productions and the nonprofit Unicorn Island Fund, Lilly supports underrepresented voices and gender equality. UNICEF appointed Lilly a Goodwill Ambassador in 2017, building on the Girl Love initiative encouraging girls and women to support one another.
What fans can follow now.
Recent work spans the interview series Shame Less, the comedy Doin’ It and a return to YouTube sketches in October 2026. Lilly told YouTube that the return makes room for character comedy, creative freedom and the pleasure of making things with a team.
