Mini bio

How it started.

Marc grew up drawing in Montreal. He left his studies for a job at Behaviour Interactive, combining concept art and 3D work. Posting art on DeviantArt and freelancing helped bring his work to Blizzard’s attention.

Into games.

He moved to California at 22 to join Blizzard as an early artist on the team he identifies with Overwatch. In a 2014 interview, he described working as a 3D character artist on StarCraft II and Heroes of the Storm.

Building a place to learn.

Cubebrush began as his tutorial channel, grew into a community and became an artist marketplace. He built it alongside his studio job before leaving Blizzard to work on it full time.

Teaching from home.

ART School brings his teaching into a ten-term home-study curriculum covering fundamentals, anatomy, character design, color, composition and digital painting. His YouTube channel continues that teaching through free drawing and painting videos.
