Mini bio
How it started.
Mariano left Umbria at 18 for London, where modeling helped him work toward his ambition to act. In 2009, he enrolled in an Acting for Film course at the New York Film Academy. His early online posts let people follow the journey from restaurant work to fashion shoots.
Finding his audience.
MdVstyle brought his interests in clothes, cinema and everyday life together. He told Marie Claire that the idea grew from seeing friends in New York post photos and reviews online. Readers kept returning, and the blog became the foundation for a wider social audience.
Building something of his own.
Nohow began in 2014 in Umbria, with Mariano behind the project as creative director. He put his story into the 2016 book My dream job and became the face of K by Dolce & Gabbana in 2019. Gisada’s UOMO campaign brought another fragrance role in 2026.
Life beyond the shoot.
Mariano and his wife Eleonora Brunacci have four children. Golf has become a regular part of his creative life too, from filmed rounds to matches with other players. In interviews he describes the course as a place to find quiet and spend time with his sons.
