How it started.

Before fashion became a career, Marta studied Economics and worked in audit at PwC. In a BelAir interview, Marta recalled starting a blog as a weekend hobby while friends were already asking for help choosing outfits and accessories.

Finding an audience.

Marta began posting on Instagram in January 2011. The fashion blog It Girl by Marta Carriedo went on to earn recognition at the 2014 Wloggers Divinity One Awards. Years spent living between Madrid and Los Angeles helped shape the travel and personal style content fans know today.

Beyond the posts.

Marta founded the jewellery and accessories label MC Collection, whose own history dates its launch to 2018. The book BTS: Detrás de las cámaras explores Marta’s life and fashion career. The official biography also describes Drawrof Studio, a digital marketing agency organising events for brands.
