How it started.
Born in the Dominican Republic, Massiel “Massy” Indhira Arias first became known online as MankoFit. She began exercising in 2012 while struggling with depression, then shared her progress on Instagram. In her E! interview, she recalls a photo reaching the popular page and bringing new people into her growing community.
Learning to coach.
As followers began asking for fitness advice, Massy pursued certification. On Latina to Latina, she recalled training clients at Planet Fitness across the Bronx, Brooklyn and Manhattan, using that work to fund further qualifications. Her approach grew around helping people build lasting habits.
What fans come for.
Her workouts combine resistance training, calisthenics, yoga, intervals and sprinting. Fans also know her English and Spanish posts and her MA Warriors community. Today, her TRU Training programs bring strength and mobility work together, while her videos include recipes and glimpses of running TRU Supplements.
Beyond the workouts.
Massy appeared alongside fellow COVERGIRL ambassadors in the 2017 film Made in the Mirror and starred in the brand’s Focus campaign in 2018. In 2026, she hosted conversations for adidas podcast Between Reps about confidence, motherhood and women’s experiences in fitness.
