Mini bio
How it started.
Matilde grew up accompanying her mother, model Bianca Balti, on set. In her Vogue Italia interview, she recalls choosing her own clothes from childhood and being curious about everything connected with fashion.
First steps.
Her runway debut came with Dior’s spring/summer 2026 show in Paris in October 2025. Later that month, she shared a Vogue Italia digital cover with Bianca, photographed in Hollywood.
Building her own book.
Her work now spans runway and editorial: W’s Mark Leckey portfolio, a Harper’s Bazaar Italia cover and Vogue World Milano. Vogue also included her among its nine breakout models of fall 2026.
