Mini bio
Music came first.
Matt’s route into online video began with music. In his own channel biography, he says he started as a singer-songwriter on Making the Band, then joined the boy band Townsend. The group toured middle schools and opened for Jessica Simpson, Dream Street and Aaron Carter. He met Rebecca Zamolo while shooting a music video.
From covers to challenges.
A June 2015 upload paired Matt with JoshuaDTV for an acoustic mash-up of Michael Jackson’s “Love Never Felt So Good” and “Man in the Mirror.” Rebecca produced the video. His channel grew to mix music with vlogs and challenges, including the 2017 Halloween pancake-art video.
Building a world fans could follow.
Matt and Rebecca co-created The Game Master, an adventure series built around clues and real-life escape-room puzzles. Its Show of the Year nomination at the 2019 Streamy Awards marked recognition for the series. Their Game Master Network expanded into a mobile game and two children’s mystery novels, Summer Schooled and Mansion Mystery.
Family and the next chapter.
Family life is a recurring part of Matt’s videos with Rebecca, from school-day routines to DIY challenges. Their son Zander arrived in August 2025, joining daughter Zadie. In September 2026, the couple spoke at AI Creator Day about using dubbing to bring their videos to audiences in other languages.
