Mini bio
How it started.
Marty and Moog began filming on Marty’s mum’s driveway in suburban Sydney in 2007. Their first video went online on 9 January 2008. The premise was practical: show people modifications they could attempt at home with basic tools and methods.
Beyond the driveway.
Their first feature, Turbos & Temples, took them to Hokkaido and premiered in 2011. Kei to the City followed in 2014, drawing more than half a million views in its first week, according to their official fact sheet. Those films expanded the show into car culture, travel and storytelling.
Made by the mates.
The pair handle the builds and much of the production, with help from friends. Moog composes the show’s original music. Their work has also aired internationally on Discovery Channel, while the six-part Lend Us A Ride: Australia received Screen Australia funding and was licensed by Qantas.
A lasting record.
In August 2026, a selection of their work entered the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia through its inaugural Creator Capsule partnership with YouTube. Their driveway videos and feature films now form part of the national audiovisual collection.
