Mini bio
Before the channel.
Jaspreet grew up with parents from Punjab, India, and the expectation that he would become a doctor. Instead, he explored entrepreneurship, running an event-planning business and investing in real estate while in college.
How it started.
A marketing scam during the launch of his water-resistant athletic sock business pushed him to share what he was learning. Minority Mindset began as educational social posts and a hobby YouTube channel aimed at helping others avoid his mistakes.
Choosing the work.
When the channel reached around 100,000 subscribers, his sock patent was denied. He chose to pursue Minority Mindset full time after law school, even though the sock business was profitable and the channel was not.
Beyond YouTube.
Today, his work also includes Briefs Finance. Its free Market Briefs newsletter turns financial news into a short morning read, while his videos range from everyday money habits to investing and economic explainers.
