How it started.
Moritz’s first job was washing dishes. They became a chef at the same restaurant, and an interest in clothes found an outlet in extravagant chef’s jackets and neckerchiefs. In a 2024 Three-Quarter Plate interview, Moritz recalled being approached about modeling on a Munich street, signing with an agency and taking jobs alongside kitchen work.
Taking the leap.
An agency encouraged Moritz to make their Instagram public. In 2018, they decided to commit fully. Their style grew around classic clothing with a modern twist, a thread that still runs through their menswear posts.
Making it their own.
In 2024, Moritz collaborated with Strellson on a limited capsule of seven styles, bringing tailoring and streetwear together. Their 2026 Curated Optics interview explored another recurring part of their looks: expressive eyewear and an appreciation for craftsmanship.
