Mini bio

How it started.

Nadia was born and raised in Rome, with family roots in southern Italy. On her official site, she recalls learning to make fresh pasta with her aunties and nonnas. Her family, nicknamed the Macaronis, had been making pasta and wine since the 1800s.

Finding her audience.

In a 2022 interview with ITALY Magazine, Nadia described discovering TikTok through her children during the pandemic after working in marketing with her husband. A reaction to a badly made lasagna helped introduce her to viewers in 2020. Her videos paired Italian cooking with humor and theatrical storytelling.

From the kitchen to the bookshelf.

Her first book, The Pasta Queen: A Just Gorgeous Cookbook, came out in 2022 with Katie Parla. The Art of Italian Cooking followed in 2024 with Anna Francese Gass. Both became New York Times bestsellers. Her Prime Video series takes viewers through Italian regions and back into the kitchen for recipes.

More ways to cook together.

Nadia now has a five-sauce range sold at Walmart and a membership called The Royal Court of Pasta, offering live cooking sessions and a recipe library. In 2026, she also began The Pasta Queen Podcast with Rob LeDonne.
