Mini bio

How it started.

Before television, Namita built a career in finance and business. A chartered accountant with an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, she spent six years at Guidant Corporation in the United States before joining Emcure as CFO in 2007. Her responsibilities later expanded to its India business.

Meeting the audience.

Shark Tank India brought her investment decisions into viewers’ homes from its first season in 2021. In August 2022, she published The Dolphin and the Shark, drawing on business experience and pitches from the show to explore leadership that combines ambition with empathy.

Making room for health conversations.

Her YouTube talk show Uncondition Yourself brings doctors and patients into conversations about health and its taboos. Alongside that work, she founded Arth by Emcure, whose first menopause-focused range launched in September 2024. Her recent posts move between podcast conversations, founder updates and campaigns about women’s health.
