Mini bio

How it started.

Before music, Natasha played under-19 cricket for Karachi as an off-spinner. She remembers singing to entertain her teammates. Community performances led to Cornetto Music Icons in 2013, where she was mentored by Zoe Viccaji and sang a duet with Alamgir.

Finding her sound.

She joined Ahsan Bari’s Sounds of Kolachi as a lead vocalist in 2014. In 2016 she formed her own band, with her brother Sameer on guitar, and co-founded production company Laal Series with Hassan Ali Effendi. Her 2018 Coke Studio performance of “Shikwa/Jawab-e-Shikwa” alongside Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad brought her wider recognition.

Poetry at the centre.

Her debut album Zariya arrived in 2020, followed by the Allama Iqbal tribute Khirad in 2022. Khushboo followed in 2026, this time drawing on Parveen Shakir’s poetry. Alongside these albums, she sings television soundtracks and collaborates across folk, rock and pop.
