How it started.

Nico wanted to make videos long before running became his subject. On The Running Effect, he recalled filming skits with friends on his mother’s phone as a child. He began building his social media during his second year of college and gradually saw a way to make it his job.

Finding his stride.

By his August 2024 Life in Stride appearance, he had completed three marathons and run roughly 2:52 at Eugene. The conversation traced his move from short videos about food and running toward longer films about the sport.

The story behind the miles.

His films now follow both the races and the work around them. He documented his first ultramarathon in 2025, his first marathon DNF at Mesa in 2026, and his London Marathon experience. Away from racing, he shared a wedding and honeymoon vlog with Sofie and later announced his departure from BPN.
