How it started.
Nikki grew up in Los Angeles and began pursuing makeup in her early twenties. In her Shoutout DFW interview, she described building her business through word of mouth, taking weddings, proms, headshots, night shoots and unpaid test shoots to gain experience.
From sets to tutorials.
Before becoming a familiar face online, Nikki worked behind the scenes on celebrity, television and brand shoots. A career highlight was traveling to South Korea with Tara Lipinski for the 2018 Winter Olympics. In a March 2020 interview with The Tease, she was already talking about making makeup tutorials for YouTube from home.
Finding an audience.
Her back-to-back product tests give fans time to see how formulas apply and compare. Her 2024 Sephora foundation marathon is among her most-watched videos. Her official website now reports more than 525,000 YouTube subscribers and 124 million views.

Nikki has collaborated with BK Beauty on Pro Artist brushes, including an eight-piece second collection in 2025 and a six-brush travel set in 2026. Her own store also carries mirrors, apparel and beauty accessories.
