Mini bio
How it started.
Nina grew up in London with a love of art. A teenage modelling job sparked an interest in painting faces: on set, Nina would change their own makeup and other models began asking for help with theirs. Work with Estée Lauder, Elizabeth Arden and Kanebo followed, along with a magazine beauty editor role. Nina launched an independent brand in 2004.

Online, Nina turns professional techniques into lessons viewers can follow at home, from the order of makeup application to contouring and quick everyday routines. By June 2022, ITP Live reported more than 230,000 YouTube subscribers and highlighted the makeup application lesson as a video with over half a million views. More recent work gives particular attention to makeup for women over 40.
From the makeup chair to the Met.
In May 2024, Nina travelled to New York to do philanthropist Sudha Reddy’s makeup for the Met Gala. Their own account follows the fitting at The Plaza, the makeup preparations and the photos before Reddy left for the event. Harper’s Bazaar Arabia featured the pink-and-peach look among its picks from that year’s gala.
A place for longer conversations.
The Beauty Breakfast Club gives fans a mix of beauty guides, personal essays and monthly diaries. In a September 2026 podcast episode, Nina described being completely self-taught and looked back on 25 years in the industry. The publication also makes room for the realities of creating, from batch filming to setting up a studio after moving home.
