Mini bio

How it started.

Before viewers knew her as Nischa, Shah worked in banking and qualified as an accountant. CNBC Make It reports that she became an associate director at Crédit Agricole in 2022. She began making personal finance and self-development videos in December 2021 while still working in finance.

Finding her audience.

The early growth took patience. In coverage of her CNBC interview, NDTV reports that reaching her first 1,000 subscribers took 11 months. A video about her life as an investment banker helped the channel take off. Her own video about leaving banking describes that decision as the hardest thing she had done.

Making money easier to understand.

Her videos explain spending, saving and investing through everyday decisions, including car finance and money habits. On her website, Nischa says her aim is to make finance clearer and more practical. Fans can also find her Sunday Money Note, Intentional Spending Tracker and Financial Wellbeing Toolkit there.

Beyond her own channel.

She joined Steven Bartlett on The Diary Of A CEO in July 2025 and Jay Shetty on On Purpose in March 2026. Both conversations connect practical money questions with the bigger choices around work, identity and freedom.
