Mini bio

Early starts.

Before AppSumo, Noah worked at Intel, joined Facebook as employee #30, and ran marketing as Mint’s fourth employee. Getting fired from Facebook became a recurring subject in his writing about setbacks and starting again.

A weekend experiment.

In 2010, he started AppSumo in a weekend for $50. Its first deal was Imgur Pro. That small beginning grew into the software marketplace that anchors his work.

Sharing the process.

His YouTube channel began in 2017 and grew past one million subscribers. On Noah Kagan Presents, which began in December 2016, he mixes interviews with candid accounts of running a company. Million Dollar Weekend brought his approach to testing a business idea into a book in 2024.
