Omaya built an audience by sharing everyday hijab looks and styling ideas on Instagram. A 2019 Wolipop profile traces her YouTube channel to 2014 and says she became more consistent with hijab and makeup videos around 2017. Born in Venezuela and of Venezuelan-Palestinian heritage, she was living in Florida when that profile was published.

Her 2016 “TURBAN TUTORIALS” video has passed six million views. Its description calls it one of her most requested videos. Another tutorial that year showed a pin-free turban style using Uniquehijabs scarves. She continues making accessible styling videos, including a beginner hijab Short in November 2026.
