How it started.
Prableen began making YouTube content while studying civil engineering. In her Exhibit interview, she recalled buying her first tripod with ₹1,000 in savings. Posting became less consistent during her final year, before she started creating on Instagram just before lockdown.
Finding her voice.
After hurtful comments about her skin at a beauty event, she posted an unfiltered picture. Her #nofilterwithpkb content found an audience, and showing real skin became central to her work. She describes that first post as a particularly freeing moment.
Beauty and everyday life.
Her channel brings together makeup, plus-size clothing, brand trips and personal vlogs. In her account for Tweak India, she spoke about living with PCOS and the difficulty of shopping for bridal outfits in her size. Sharing those experiences is part of how she helps other women feel less alone.
