Mini bio
Music came first.
Rose grew up in Alvin, Texas. She and Ben wrote and performed music together, and she learned to do her own stage makeup. Her brand’s origin story describes experimenting with looks night after night while they toured.
The questions became the work.
Around 2013 to 2014, she was posting about her animals and music gigs when people began asking about her makeup. Answering those questions led her toward tutorials and product education. In her 2024 Authority Magazine interview, she recalled reaching a community of close to a million by 2020.
Tools with a teaching purpose.
In 2021, Rose co-founded Rose and Ben Beauty. The brand connects brush design with makeup education, drawing on application problems she encountered herself. She later created her first color collection, Trust the Process, with MOB Beauty in 2023.

Color correction and practical technique remain central to her work. In their 2026 Where Brains Meet Beauty interview, Rose and Ben described a partnership in which she leads education and creative work while he handles operations. She also said she continues to answer her own direct messages.
