Mini bio

How it started.

Sarah studied political science and journalism at Penn State and earned a master’s in media studies. Studying satirical news helped clarify what she wanted next: to make comedy herself. She went on to perform at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

Finding an audience.

Her BuzzFeed work brought that curiosity to video, from teaching her dog basketball to walking through New York in a giant bubble. She also co-hosted HuffPost’s ICYMI and wrote for UCB’s Everyone’s Favorite Game Show.

Good friends, questionable books.

On Mean Book Club, Sarah joins Clara Morris, Johnna Scrabis and Sabrina B. Jordan to argue about bestselling books. Alongside hosting, she helps produce and edit the show. The podcast reached its 22nd season in October 2026.

Beyond the microphone.

Her writing credits include State Farm’s Gamerhood, HP’s Level Reforge and audio stories for Pocket FM. Her pilot Alienated, about a new mother who suspects something otherworldly is happening with her baby, was a 2023 WeScreenplay TV Lab winner.
