Mini bio
How it started.
Before the studio sessions, there were covers recorded in a friend’s room. Lahore-born Shae Gill began posting singing videos on Instagram in 2019. Coke Studio producer Xulfi noticed her page and invited her to sing with Ali Sethi.
The breakthrough.
“Pasoori,” released in February 2022 for Coke Studio Season 14, turned those online beginnings into an international audience. Shae’s next collaborations included “Sukoon” with Hassan & Roshaan and “Left Right” with Ali Sethi, Abdullah Siddiqui and Maanu.
Finding her own sound.
She co-wrote “One Love” with Turkish artist Evdeki Saat for Coke Studio’s global platform in 2023. In 2025, she released “Insecurity,” composing the song and sharing lyric credits with Adnan Dhool. Spotify’s RADAR Pakistan selection followed in January 2026, as she spoke about developing her solo work.
