How it started.
Before sharing outfits online, Shalice worked as an event planner and then stayed home with four young children. Her friend Karla Reed encouraged her to post her style on Instagram. She began taking outfit selfies and arranging flat lays during nap time.
Finding an audience.
A 2015 interview with The Chic introduced her as a Chicago fashion Instagrammer. Shalice later described joining rewardStyle and earning commissions as the step that helped her turn a creative outlet into a business from home. Her story was included in the LIKETOKNOW.IT book in 2018.
Making her own pieces.
On April 9, 2021, she announced her clothing label, built around versatile pieces that could work in busy everyday lives. The launch included tops in limited quantities using deadstock fabric. Her blog now pairs fashion guides with family updates and reflections on Christian faith.
