How it started.
Before Stylish By Nature became a career, Shalini worked in IT. Sharing outfits on online style portals brought requests to start a blog. In a 2017 RITZ interview, Shalini recalled initially putting it off because of a lack of time, then deciding to pursue a love of fashion.
Finding an audience.
Early recognition came through reader street style features in The New York Times. Shalini’s own media archive records Spring Scarves in 2012, followed by Black and Gold and Reflective Sunglasses in 2013.
The Stylish By Nature mix.
The blog brings together street style, designer fashion, beauty, food and travel. Its lookbooks range from Kanchipuram sarees to sheer mesh dresses, alongside destination features such as Hard Rock Hotel Goa.
