Sheida’s interest in makeup began early. In a 2015 MOJEH interview, they recalled experimenting at 12 and recreating the beauty looks they saw in magazines.

Famous Birthdays dates the blog’s launch to June 2014 and reports a fashion-design degree from the University College for the Creative Arts. By March 2017, Eyes of Solotica described an Instagram following above half a million, alongside YouTube and Snapchat content.
