Mini bio

How it started.

Shirin began dressing in vintage-inspired fashion in April 2018. Audrey Hepburn’s black dress in Breakfast at Tiffany’s had caught her imagination years earlier. She started sharing online to find people who loved the same things and to explore fashion photography.

Finding an audience.

Her outfit ideas and hair tutorials reached a wider audience on Instagram and YouTube. Her sock-curl tutorial became one of her most-watched videos, with more than two million views recorded by vidIQ.

A style that moves through time.

Shirin draws on fashion, cinema, literature and art from the 19th century through the 1970s. She mixes decades instead of staying within one era, using photography, video and drawing to tell her own stories.

From styling to designing.

Her Son de Flor co-designs include the Darcy and Eyre dresses, inspired by Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre. She also has a hat collection with Rose Chérie Paris. Literary references and wearable, nostalgic shapes connect her styling with her design work.
