How it started.

Shuzo was scouted in Harajuku at 12 and studied in New Zealand at 15. Back in Japan, they began posting on TikTok in 2020. Forbes JAPAN reports that a friend encouraged the first post, which quickly found an audience.

From the feed to fashion.

In 2020, Shuzo walked for Louis Vuitton and won the TikTok prize at the 35th Men’s Non-no model audition. They became an exclusive model for the magazine, then made their television drama debut as medical student Kazuki Seki in Nakuna Kenshui in 2021.

Building a musical voice.

Music production under the SHUZO name began in 2023. In 2025, THE FEELING brought together Shuzo’s production, composition and lyrics with Mika Nakashima’s voice. Shuzo also released One More Step with J.Sheon and looked back on four and a half years at Men’s Non-no as their exclusive-model chapter ended.
