Medicine came first.
Before becoming Dr. Staci T online, Tanouye studied at Washington University in St. Louis and Saint Louis University School of Medicine, then trained at Mayo Clinic. She joined the Mayo faculty before moving into private practice in Florida.
Finding her audience.
She joined TikTok in November 2019; an early safe-sex video brought her wider attention. In a 2022 interview, she recalled that a safe-sex TikTok reached more than 14 million views. She also described partnering with U by Kotex to raise awareness of period poverty.
A career that fits her life.
