How it started.
Before becoming a familiar face on beauty YouTube, Susan worked as a news reporter at News12 The Bronx. Reporting and hosting at Forbes.com led to beauty roles at TotalBeauty, PopSugar and NewBeauty, where she built the magazine’s editorial video department.
Finding her audience.
Susan began reviewing skincare and explaining routines on Mixed Makeup in 2014. Her reporting background shaped a channel built around beauty products, treatments and conversations with experts. She also co-hosted parenting conversations with Sharzad Kiadeh on FAM: For All Moms.
From creator to founder.
Susan joined Naturium as a founder in 2020. The ingredient-focused skincare brand became part of e.l.f. Beauty in 2023. She remains involved with Naturium, and in May 2026 relaunched Playa with fragrance-focused hair and body care.

On GlowLab, Susan brings guests into conversations about skincare, cosmetic procedures, wellness and relationships. Recent episodes range from makeup artist Nam Vo’s skin prep to Pilates with Bryony Basse. She also shares her own monthly favorites.
