Mini bio

How it started.

Toni built an audience through makeup tutorials. An earlier channel description introduced Toni as a self-taught makeup artist studying business management in Toronto. By August 2016, The Guardian Nigeria was featuring Toni’s natural nude makeup tutorial, with its skin preparation and matte-to-gloss lip options.

Early attention.

Beauty outlets helped bring those tutorials to more viewers. BellaNaija featured Toni’s photo-ready glowy chocolate look in April 2017, including tips on lighting, backgrounds, cameras and editing for makeup selfies. Makeup remains part of the channel alongside hair tutorials, fashion and personal vlogs.

A wider world.

Travel diaries now take fans along on girls’ trips, from Italy’s Amalfi Coast to South Africa and Turks and Caicos. In 2024, ELLE Canada included Toni in its roundup of stylish Toronto content creators, pointing readers to the beauty routines, evening outfits and getting-ready Reels.

Making room for yourself.

In interviews with Health Insight, Toni has discussed inclusive beauty and the importance of self-care for women and creators. Toni described setting boundaries, taking nature walks, painting and spending time with loved ones as ways to recharge. In 2023, Toni received the Black Girl Digital Awards International Influencer of the Year award.
