Mini bio
How it started.
After studying at IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad, Vineeta chose entrepreneurship over an investment banking offer. Early ventures were difficult to grow, but the ambition to build a business for women stayed with them.
Listening before launching.
In 2012, Vineeta and Kaushik started FABBAG, a beauty subscription business. Customers’ experiences with makeup helped shape SUGAR Cosmetics, launched in 2015 with Indian complexions and climate in mind.
A familiar face in the Tank.
Shark Tank India brought Vineeta’s business experience to a wider audience from 2021. Viewers see them evaluate pitches and mentor founders; their interviews also make room for the setbacks behind building a company.
