Mini bio

How it started.

Zoheb grew up between Karachi and London with his sister Nazia. Before music became his career, he wanted to be a professional tennis player. In a 2018 interview with MAG The Weekly, he remembered their childhood as simple and said he had not originally been interested in singing.

The breakthrough.

Disco Deewane arrived in 1981, produced by Biddu and featuring the teenage siblings. Young Tarang followed in 1984. Their blend of pop and disco gave fans songs to dance to and a brother-and-sister partnership to grow up with.

Finding his way back.

After Nazia’s death in 2000, Zoheb found returning to music difficult while caring for family and managing business responsibilities. His later work includes Chehra for Coke Studio in 2014 and Signature in 2017. He told The Express Tribune that Himat Se began as a duet he hoped to sing with Nazia, while Yaadein looked back on their shared journey.
