Mini bio
How it started.
Affan Khan grew up listening to his father rehearse ghazals. In college he recorded karaoke covers on his mother’s phone, then began sharing his voice on Instagram. Inspired by Talha Anjum and Talhah Yunus, he also started writing rap and entering underground contests.
Finding a creative partner.
Afusic and producer Ali Soomro built a friendship before their music reached a wider audience. Soomro encouraged him to explore his singing voice alongside rap. Their songs bring South Asian melodies together with pop and hip-hop.
The song that travelled.
Released in February 2025, Pal Pal became their breakout. They had held the finished song back while building the resources to release it. A version with Talwiinder followed, and the original reached number 94 on the UK Official Singles Chart.
What came next.
Afusic continued working with Ali Soomro on Kanwal with Hasan Raheem and Not Enough. In 2026 he joined Coke Studio Nu.WAV for Dil with Zoha Waseem and Qasam with Shae Gill.
