Early style diaries.
Agatha built a public presence around personal style under the name Irony of Ashi. By December 2012, All Things Ankara was featuring Agatha’s African-print styling, including a one-shoulder peplum top and matching print earrings.
Finding a wider audience.
Fashion Bomb Daily profiled Agatha in June 2016, pointing readers to the Houston blogger’s tailored outfits, bright colors and bold lips. The feature highlighted a range that ran from casual denim to African-print dresses.
Building Flair alongside a day job.
Agatha’s work expanded into clothing through Flair by Ashi. In a January 2020 blog update, Agatha described running the label alongside a full-time senior accounting job at an oil and gas company and creating content on Instagram. After a break from writing in 2019, the update marked a return to blogging.
Style that travels.
The blog brings outfit ideas together with beauty experiments and travel diaries.
